NAMI was started by a group of extraordinary women in Madison, WI.
Today, we are calling on YOU to become one of our 100 Extraordinary Women to take charge once again, and support Wisconsin’s youth, Wisconsin’s future.1 in 5 youth ages 14-24 are living with a serious mental illness. Due to the lack of mental health support and education that is provided for youth and their families, half of these students with mental illness drop out of school, end up in our juvenile justice system or die by suicide.
NAMI Wisconsin is seeking EXTRAORDINARY women to help support youth in Wisconsin. Become an extraordinary woman today!
The model program will begin in Madison then be available in communities across the state in time for the 2017-2018 school year.
We are asking 100 Women to each donate $100 to pay for the materials for this program
Every woman will be recognized on our website, in our newsletter and in program materials.
